Before installing Pico, please make sure that you have a Primary URL saved in your account's Publication settings at Settings ► Account. If you have a Staging URL and/or Development URL, you will need to save those as well in order for Pico to successfully load on those versions of your site.

There are two ways of installing the Pico plugin on your WordPress site: Express and Manual.

Option A: Express Installation

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins ► Add New.
  2. Search for "Pico." Select the plugin created by Pico and click the Install Now button.
  3. Once the plugin is installed, click the Activate button and open the Pico plugin pane.
  4. Connect the plugin using your Pico Publisher ID and API Key. You can find these credentials by navigating in your Pico dashboard to Settings ► Integrations, opening the WordPress section, and clicking View connection instructions.

Option B: Manual Installation

  1. Click here to download the latest version of the Pico plugin.
  2. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins ► Add New.
  3. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the screen and select the Pico plugin you just downloaded.
  4. Once the plugin is installed, click the Activate button and open the Pico plugin pane.
  5. Connect the plugin using your Pico Publisher ID and API Key. You can find these credentials by navigating in your Pico dashboard to Settings ► Integrations, opening the WordPress section, and clicking View connection instructions.
